Our Essential Service Workers
Need Housing Now

Do you have a suite or auxiliary dwelling

that you can rent?

The housing crisis is having a devastating impact on our essential services. Nurses, teachers, first responders, social service providers, and civil servants are unable to find housing and are declining offers of work or moving off the Coast.

This means that our hospital and health-care centres, schools, government offices, non-profit social services, and emergency services are critically short staffed and are struggling to meet the needs of our community.

Our community is working hard to build new affordable housing, but we won’t have a substantial change in inventory for at least a couple of years.

POST YOUR SUITE TO OUR ONLINE DIRECTORY:

We have created a housing rental directory that can only be accessed by essential service organizations who require housing for their staff.  The registry will be password protected and will provide an opportunity to showcase your rental directly to essential service workers.

Essential Service Organizations

The following organizations will have access to the directory:

The Sunshine Coast Affordable Housing Society has set up this registry as a way for landlords to connect directly to organizations and their staff.  The society is not a Property Manager and is not responsible for screening tenants.
