Habitat for Humanity brings communities together to help working families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable housing.
About Habitat for Humanity Sunshine Coast
Habitat for Humanity Sunshine Coast believes that affordable housing brings stability, safety and self-reliance. We partner with families who are ready for the responsibility and challenges of long-term stable housing. Our families complete 500 hours of volunteer work as part of their commitment to the partnership. This could include working alongside volunteers and skilled trades people to build homes or volunteering at the ReStore or offering help to one of our recycling teams. Habitat for Humanity Sunshine Coast offers affordable housing that is never more than 30% of our family’s gross income. The model is evolving to serve the best interests of our families and the sustainability of Habitat’s housing initiative.
