Pender Harbour Seniors Housing Society
The Pender Harbour Seniors Housing Society is working to provide purpose-built affordable housing for independent seniors.
About Pender Harbour Seniors Housing Society
The Pender Harbour Seniors Housing Society was established in 1990 as the “Area A Seniors Housing Project”. Land was donated by Ryan and Sue Campbell in their Lily Lake subdivision, and the society began work on raising capital revenue and developing a housing model. After much review, the Society changed their focus to providing “affordable” seniors housing. They are now close to securing the funding to begin construction of their first facility. The Society is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors and community volunteers.
