Housing Initiatives:
Leadership and Support
SCREDO has identified lack of affordable housing as a key component to worker shortage, which is having a dramatic impact on regional economic development. In response, they are actively participating in community organizations and initiatives to identify and implement solutions.
They are a member of the Coastal Workforce Housing Taskforce, a group of organizations and individuals working together to construct workforce specific housing to meet the community economic development and regional growth needs of the future. They are also a member of the District of Sechelt Housing Advisory Committee.
